Sustainability Award for Solo Cup EuropeWe’re delighted to announce we’ve won the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) Sustainability Award 2012 for our ‘Green is the new Black’ campaign! This campaign included (among other things); Carbon Trust Award, ISO 14001 certification, achieving zero to landfill, Reduce, Reuse, recycle campaign & The Love Where You Live campaign. The Award was presented at a gala dinner for 400 FPA members and their guests in Brighton, where we were selected over tough competition from a number of competitor businesses. VP for the Environment Anne Sutton collected the Award and said: "It’s fantastic for Solo to be recognised in this way nationally against strong competition. It’s also great recognition for all our teams, who have worked hard over recent months to deliver great products and great service to our customers with the sustainable message. We’re already looking ahead to see what more we can achieve over the next 12 months!" We also reached the shortlist for two other Awards: Marketing Campaign of the Year and the Manufacturer of the Year Award – it has been a great start to the year! 15/3/2012 |
